  1. Glorious: possessing or deserving of Glory; delightful, wonderful

I just cannot accept his point of view. How can I take at face value that God is deserving of Glory if he gives me these desires and needs yet refuses me any remedy but a silent struggle and pain.

“And while that doesn’t answer the question of why he’s allowed it, it does remind me that he’s aware of it and that he is in control. God knows the anger, frustration, and sadness I have felt because of this struggle. And in the midst of it all he gives me his presence to comfort me and to lead me through it. I know that God desires what is best for me and I know that he is sovereign; therefore I can trust him with this battle knowing he is using it for my good.”

For your good? All this constant struggle and pain is for my good? God’s best for someone with same sex attractions is to find the love of your life and live your life honestly and to stop pretending that what is natural for 95%+ percent of others is natural for you. Context is very important when ready Scripture. “Thou Shall not Kill”. Yet the Bible is full of examples where killing seems to be justified…. War, etc.

Oh yes , and he brings up eternity. Basically, all our suffering will be worth it when we meet God. Basically… our Hell is right here on Earth.

I will repeat. God is CRUEL, or you are misinterpreting scripture. I chose to believe that God is NOT cruel.

    • James, I worry so much about you and the things that you are going through. Before I got saved I was in a relationship with a guy for almost 10yr.s. I tried to convince myself that what I was doing was ok with God. My ex and I got saved about the same time and after about 2mts my ex started to wonder why God was still allowing him to be tempted. God doesn’t want a Heaven of people who are like robots. We have free fill, therefore, God’s Heaven will be full of people that CHOOSE TO FOLLOW HIM! It is even more necessary that we are troubled more, seeing a how the devil wants us back.
We have to remember also that Jesus stated when killing you enemies, that He says be good to them and love them. My Skpe is bryan.matthew73, My face book at the bottom of my profile.
You are just on my mind.

    • I will repeat. God is CRUEL, or you are misinterpreting scripture. I chose to believe that God is NOT cruel.

I know that God is all-powerful, He does as He pleases, He answers to no one, and His might makes right.

  2. The truth of the situation is this: Some people are so convinced in their own knowledge that their hearts are hardened. People think that they can reason things out in their own mind because they are intelligent. Their fault is that God’s wisdom is so far above even the smartest person on earth that it’s foolishness to Him. Then there are those people who the devil has so blind that reasoning is clouded and darkened to a point that without a moving of God they will always be convinced that their way is the right way and that’s the end of that, so if God wants them to be His then He will change His views because they certainly are not going to change theirs! It is not God’s will that any should die and be cast into hell but many will be for the simple fact that they have overlooked one important fact, HUMANS HAVE FREE-WILL! My Lord will never force you to do what is commanded of you but He does expect it. (You can take that to the Bank) Heaven will not be filled with robot-like people that always wanted to serve God and were never tempted or never struggled in their lives. The Almighty wants His children there who, had a choice and struggled sometimes and still through it all they loved Him and wanted to please Him no matter the cost to themselves.
